About La Voz Viva
Our Mission
With more than 35 years experience, soprano Peggy Kurtz provides award-winning instruction to her students. Her students have performed major roles in local youth theatre and school music theatre productions, as well as winning NATS and scholarship competitions. Some have worked professionally in New York, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and LA.
Ms. Kurtz is motivated by her love of singing and passion to share her knowledge with others so their creativity and talent can shine. Previously a professor of voice at Trinity Lutheran College, she served on the voice faculty at Everett Community College and is active in both NATS and the Snohomish County Music Teachers Association. She has served as an adjudicator for MTNA and WMEA, and is the Music Director for Central Lutheran Church in Everett, WA.At La Voz Viva, our mission is to empower individuals through the art of voice and language. We believe that every voice has the potential to shine and make an impact in the world.
